5.23.09 - First Pitbull Awareness Walk

5/23/09 - Our first Pitbull Awareness Walk at Lamar Park in Wyoming, MI. WHAT A SUCCESS! The day started with appox. 100+ people and 80+ dogs. After we took our Group picture, FOX 17 and NEWS 8 showed up to broadcast the event. Please view video of both broadcasts on the Video tab on this website.
We then completed a 2.75 mile walk down 28th St. As we did people continually honked and cheered us on. We had a lot of people stop and ask what we were doing, and showing positive interest. We also had Kalamazoo Animal Rescue bring some of there dogs they have up for adoption, two of them found forever homes. Members were signing petitions to eliminate some city and county bans. All and all a 100% Successful event, we are gaining way to show that Pitbulls are more than what meets the eye.  To view or download all of the wonderful photos that Brad's Mobile Pet Photography took 5-23-09. 4.11.09 - First Meet and Greet

4/11/09 - Our first meet and Greet at Johnson Park in Grand Rapids, MI. We had appox. 60 people show up with about 40 dogs thoughout the day. The meet and Greet was great, we meet a lot of new people all the way from Detroit, MI to Manistee, MI. This event was to get a feel how everything was going to work, and meet some of the members. Can't wait for 5/23/09
